Products

Sunset products are fruit of a nation’s labor. Every papaya cultivated in Brazil brings a bit of our culture and our histories. So we work twice as hard to make sure our papaya’s quality reflects that, and that Sunset products accurately represent us everywhere.

The papaya distributed by us is grown in two Brazilian cities: Linhares, in the state of Espírito Santo, in the Southeast region of the country, and Baraúna, in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, in the Northeast region of Brazil. We bring to our partners in production the international standards of integrated agriculture, which elevate the quality of production and guarantee more sustainable farming techniques, respecting workers and consumers.

The Sunset papaya is presented in the Golden and Formosa varieties, both with excellent productivity in Brazilian climate and soil, featuring the same advantages in its consumption.

Golden papaya

Golden papaya

The Golden variety is easily recognizable at first sight by its pear shape. It features a brighter orange color in its interior, and a softer and creamier flavor. Its slightly smaller size makes it perfect for an individual meal.

Formosa papaya

Formosa papaya

The Formosa is a considerably larger version of the papaya. Its pulp is redder inside and its shape longer in height. The fruit features a strong and rich flavor. It lasts longer, as this variety takes more time to completely ripen.
